Get Out the Vote for MTSU Constitution Day

AAUW Murfreesboro has partnered with the American Democracy Project to register voters on MTSU Campus. Volunteers are needed wanted for a two-hour shift on Monday, Sept. 17 or Tuesday, Oct. 9. Click here to sign up. Students on MTSU campus are eager to register to vote, and you can help them do it. All materials and instructions will be supplied, and when you arrive for your shift, someone will be there to train you on the (simple) voter registration process.

"These Hands"

The Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Center will be featured in a photographic art display at the Murfreesboro City Hall Rotunda. “These Hands” photographic display features empowering photos of the hands of domestic violence and sexual assault survivors accompanied by their personal stories. Photos will be available for viewing beginning Sept. 24 and will be featured as part of Art Crawl on Oct. 12.

Workshops at EYH are presented by women role models in different STEM fields including keynote speaker is Dr. Kelly Holley-Brockelmann, an astrophysicist at Vanderbilt University. She will share her career path with the girls EYH also offers free adult workshops on how to help your daughter succeed in STEM classes as they prepare for higher education.
